My experience of this is a little second hand but a mate of mine had it done. He is very fastidious about everything, and particularly about his eyes. He had several observations:

1) You don't want to be getting it wrong -you get one set of eyes.
2) Getting it right is waaaay more important than the cost
3) Therefore find the best person in the field
4) That man is Dan Reinstein at London Vision Clinic
5) He spends a lot of his time putting right eye-ops gone wrong from some of the cheapo chains.
6) If I was having it done I would be speaking to him first...

Thankfully my eyes are fine.

Too little too late I swould say, worth a shot though. Most offers have the small print, not applicable to existing customers or the like to cover them. But as I say, worth a shot for that kind of money

i'd be wary, there are many things to save money on your eyes are not one them.
