Mumps

Unfortunately I managed to get mumps about a week ago, went to the doctor who confirmed, and face swelled up - 'Mr Potato Head' was the cry around the household...

The swelling affects the salivary glands, and as such for the last week or so, I have had a mouth as dry as a ........(insert pithy comment here)

Just wondered if anyone else had suffered this and how long before the salivary glands started working again, as it is a little annoying to say the least...

As the possiblity of becoming sterile through this, not a problem as I had a vasectomy three weeks ago. Splendid.
