Just wandered if anyone used any of the products on this site other than whey protein. I haven't trained with supplements for some time and thought i'd get a tub of protein and try creatine ethyl ester. So i've been thinking of getting a tub of cee capsules and a 5lb tub of true whey chocolate mint. The reviews on site are all positive but the prices sound too good to be true.

i use them a fair few times, for bulk whey, creatine and thermopure stuff, find them cheap and quick to deliver.

Have only ordered Impact Whey from them, but I've found it to be better-tasting and more easily digested than the Maximuscle and Nutrisport equivalents. Their prices are cheaper, but they are no-frills: the protein comes in a bag, not a tub and I haven't had any freebies yet (protein shakers, creatine and sweatshirts/fleeces/polo shirts were a regular occurrence with Nutrisport). Good service from them too.

Have you been getting decent results on the impact whey? Just had a look after you said and it does seem to have good reviews. Was thinking of getting a 1kg bag to try and take perhaps 2 on training days and 1 on rest days.

Yes, I like it. Being seriously lactose intolerant puts restrictions on what I can and can't have, but Impact Whey has so far been pretty good.

MP is great, I use them for everything apart from my vitamins (they stopped the vits i used to buy from them, now using CNP).

Great prices and ingredients, most proteins like maximuscle etc are full of sh*t and focus on flash advertising and BS to draw in customers, MP is basic and to the point.

To the OP, have you tasted CEE before? If not, you're in for a treat! lol

Yep, they're great - always quick to deliver and have good quality no frills products.

Their caramel protein bars are pretty tasty too, especially the nutty ones :-)

Thanks for all the help. Orders being put through tonight if i've got time. Impact whey and CEE it is, plus some aminos. I've not tried CEE yet, but i've heard not to let it touch your tongue so i'll be extra carefull. hehe

The capsules might be ok, I used the powder...I've tried some nasty tasting supplements but this one is by far the worst!

Phd seem to be quote good at the moment in terms of price, I have usually used Maximuscle but it seems increasingly overpriced and 'commercial' more than the others.

I have just got some of the phd Synergy which is equivalent to Maximuscle's Cyclone and it is considerably cheaper and is meant to taste a lot nicer...I haven't started it yet though.

I personally prefer the all in one's with creatine etc...as I can't be bothered necking about 4 tablets a day aswell as the protein shakes.

I think their whey protein is quite highly recommended...worth a try?

I used the protein supplements and creatine (can't remember which variants) from myprotein.co.uk a few years back, and with my revised (and much more sensible) excercise routine, i've been wondering about going back to them for some more.

What other options do they have for creatine, as its something that definitely felt gave me results when used before.

They have creapure, mono and ethyl ester.

MP are very good.
CEE is a taste like no other, i mix it with Pulse and cant taste it now or mix with normal orange cordial.

my basic shopping list is normally:
Whey protein (mint choc is tasty)
L Glutamine
BCAA
HMB
ZMA

my refer code gets you the normal 5% off as a new customer so feel free to use it.

Hmmm.. Interesting..

I started with Maximuscle Cyclone, but swithced to PhD Synergy, due to the price and taste.

Currently I'm off Synergy and just on the Pharma Whey. I was thinking of switching back to the Synergy for training days and getting some MP Impact Whey for off days.

I did notice that Pharma Whey does have L-Glutamine and a few other things in it though, so would I be saving by getting MP and the having to add the L-Glutamine afterward?

It would be worth a look. I've just spent £45 and got loads. Protein, creatine, aminos and some maltodestrin.

I'm still not convinced about MP to be honest, all their whey proteins are from cheese, which as far as i know is not ideal, i wonder if MP rely on slick marketing etc. Speaking to an ex-professional bodybuilder he swore by CNP products.
