SAD lights. Any success stories?

There was a thread about this last winter, but I can't find it now. So, has anybody had much luck cheering themselves up using SAD lights?

Any recommendations?

They do seem to work well for full blown SAD,less so if you're just a bit down because the weather's miserable . Might be some on ebay but not sure about quality. Usual type suppliers might be better.
