I have been prescribed some lenses due to failing vision this week. Anyway no problems. So far until today went out to the pub last night didn't wear them popped them in this morning and my right eye has been sore. Is this down to dry eyes from pub or lenses?

Could be any variety of reasons. Being a newbie, you could have scratched your eye putting them in or taking them out? Maybe leave them out for a couple of days if still sore tomorrow or pop back to the opticians.

When i was younger i loved my contacts, now just wear them for evenings out or sunny days. Even after 20 years, i can still can get them inside out and that hurts (soft daily disposables) Do it a couple of times and the eye gets quite inflamed so much so they dont sit right all day

Overall no mistake for me thumbup

Wish I had had mine years ago [ fortnightly ones].It took me a while to get the hang of putting them in and had similar problems but now all is well after 12 months.
Inside out and the minutest little nick in the edge can make the eyes painful.OP keep persevering.
