Hi all,

You might remember that I posted saying my right arm was bigger than my left, it still is..

I have recently started doing a lot more cycling, and I notice my right leg is far more dominant and large than my left..

Why is my body like this frown Can I stop it?

Same here, I regularly swim and cycle, but playing water polo for half my life has shown measurements of right side increased on arms and legs. Interestingly my right shoulder has a much greater range of movement as well.

Dare say for most people will be one side dominant to the other.

I'd give swimming a swerve, you'll end up like a 'one legged duck'.....getmecoat

no one's limbs are the same size or length

same goes with hands, feets, ears, eyes, etc

you'll find the more domanant side will generally be larger or stronger as it gets more use

True, of course. But in me it seems to be a big difference..

24" left leg vs 26" right
16" left bicep vs 17" right

I have tried to balance it, but it doesn't seem to work!

Lunges can help you here.

You don't ride (and kickstart) an old single-cylinder motorcycle, do you? smile

Maybe try and incorporate some split leg work like lunges or split leg squats?

We re using Watt Bikes at work to give output of effort from each leg, good piece of kit dont know if you could get the opportunity to jump on one of these.
