Right, I started gym again after 16 years of being a fat bd and doing nothing. I am currently using EAS Protein Powder as it stops me hurting the next day. I was wondering what else people use to help grow lean muscle mass - note the emphasis on lean, I don't like the get fat then cut down approach.

When I was at uni the legal suppliments of choice included Creatine and L-Glutamine, both of which seemed to work if taken in massive quantities. Both also tasted like sand mixed with snot.

Surely in 16 years the world of supliments has moved on, so what is generally regarded as the way forward?

Christ, the names have certainly gotten more expensive... what is it supposed to do?

L-Glutamine is really good although i didn't think creatine was all that to be honest. if you want to save money then try My Protein or for the really good stuff try Pro-Recover by CNP which i can highly recommend.
