Has anyone used or knows anyone that has used this treatment before? Is it any good?

Good but slow compared to normal braces.

Another option is lingual orthodontics where it's relatively fast like normal train track braces but they're stuck to the back of your teeth so they are not visible to anyone else.

Another factor is compliance. Any braces are going to be annoying. The problem with invisalign is that you can take them out, and most people will, to the detriment of the treatment. The others are permanent for the time of treatment, hence success rates tend to be higher.

My BiL is currently undergoing the lingual type now with good results. He is doing it with this guy, literally the guy who wrote the book on this type of treatment.

You need to speak to Peterpeter. He has huge experience with such things, but would probably recommend the Inman Aligner, which he co-invented and is far better than the invisalign.

I'd recommend you emailing him, he's usually pretty good at replying.

I had it done on the tops and it was great, you have to be disciplined with wearing it but as long as you wear it for nighttime and the majority of your day it will be fine. It only took about 9 months for my treatment IIRC.

I think there are limitations to the treatment, which is why I had to have conventional braces on the bottom. Other than a bit of jaw ache, Invisalign didn't really get in the way - but conventional ones, well, that wasn't fun to start with. Soon get used to it though.

As I say, email peterpeter, he is a world authority on this area, and his treatment may only take a few weeks rather than a few months.
