Not me, my dad.... anything you can suggest to offer some pain relief?
Perhaps foods to avoid or stick with?

I always found lemsip max strength to be the best with my throat.. that and those local anaesthetic sprays.. followed up with soem strepsils.

Gargle with whiskey. Small amounts. The alcohol helps kill the infection and the whiskey helps to take your mind off the discomfort.

Difflam throat spray, not sure if its perscription only, i dont think so
