Timescale From Death to burial Scotland

Does anyone know the timescale for this in the Dumfries and Galloway area. I have a relative who is terminal and has a few days left. I am trying to sort out travelling arangements/work etc for funerals. Sorry for morbid thread.

From dead to the wake its usually about 5 days - a week depending on the funeral director you use.
