Hi all

I'm a reasonably fit person, 33 years old, non-smoker and social drinker.

I had a bowl of porridge and a banana for breakfast at 9am, and I've just been to the gym. I did 20 mins pretty hard cardio and then some reasonable weights, then went to the supermarket in my gym gear. I felt fine after the gym, obviously hot and sweaty but otherwise fine. I drank around 400ml of water.

Anyway, in the supermarket I got annoyed because they had no Allspice (I need it today), and started to feel very feint and my throat started to dry up, I thought I was going to pass out. My head told me I needed to swallow, but I couldn't, as much as I tried! Horrible feeling. I made my way to the self-service checkout, paid for my goods, and remembered I had some more water in my rucksack. So I had a gulp of that, and by the time I was back at my car I felt loads better. And I'm normal now.

I've had a quick Google and it's suggested it might be a stress/panic attack thing. I am a bit stressed at the moment (no work, wedding next year), but don't generally show it. And to be honest, I was sweating and probably felt a bit self-conscious.

Any ideas? Throat AIDS?

Stress can show its self in strange ways.
I knew a 12 year old who went bald.

Anyway, best to see a doctor if it happens again. Online diagnosis is st.

Cheers Frankeh. I've already got an appointment at the hospital for an endoscopy (bad heartburn for ages), that Dr thinks could be an ulcer (great).
