Beorfe my morning cardio
Discussion
I am cycling to and from work and have been for a few months... The morning cycle is about 13 miles and trakes 40 minutes but it means leaving home at 5:45am... I have been told that i should eat something before i leave, the question is what !? I don't want to get up any earlier so anything that takes time to prepare are out, so ned something quick and easy that will give me what i need...
any thoughts ?

The perfect starter which will get your metabolism started and give you plenty energy to ensure you get the benefit of the cardio without the muscle loss:
1x Banana
2 scoops of a good quality protein powder (VP2 or USN Pure Protein for example)
1x scoop of Scottish Oats http://www.myprotein.co.uk/bulk-powders/carbohydra...
Some semi skimmed milk
Mix together into a convenient easy to drink shake, drink it down, then do your cycle.

To be honest if its only 40mins then they say this is the minimum time to improve or maintain cardio capacity, so just throw a nanna down with a glass of milk to get your sugar levels up if your in a rush. If your heart rate is maintaining 60 to 70% and your after fat loss there is research to suggest caffeine will increase the rate fat cells are used.
