Ok, I KNOW i need to see a Dr in person, but

1, i'm scared of them
2, i have 4 moles, all in my pubic region, and dropping my kecks for anyone i dont argue with is scary
3, im a coward

As i say, i have 4 moles, 3 of which have recently seemed to go very dark, and be growing, the bit growing is a lot pinker than the old bit. they tend to bleed very easily if caught washing or dressing etc

BUT, the bit worrying ne now is, they are becoming painful, and even itch.
A quick google search scared the crap out of me, so ive stopped and trying to make an appointment to see my gp, but from the info above, how likely is it that these are not going to be good news?

A doctor will have seen "bits" so many times that they wont even bat an eyelid.

Just go and get them looked at - it may be nothing, it may be something but just remember that the sooner you address it, the sooner it'll all be over.

Good luck smile

Hi

The majority of moles are harmless !!

A quick trip to the GP will probably put your mind at rest, if he/she is still concerned then a trip to a plastic surgeon will sort it out.

Don't worry about feeling stupid/embarrassed we really have seen it all before (and more)

I have had two moles removed before. It is a procedure that I would happily go through again. No worries if it does come to that.

Forget your embarrassment. Just do it. You'll be glad you did afterwards.

i have 4 in my pubic region too - showed them to the doc and she went to seek advise from the skin specialist. She came back with another female doc and i had both of them prodding around my nuts! They are quite dry and scaley and are a certain type of mole. They said they can whip them off if i am worried or find unsightly.

Malignant melanoma is quite rare, so whats the chance of you having 3 or 4 in an area that doesnt get any sun?? Not much, but get down there and have them checked smile
