Any orthopeadic surgeons out there.
Discussion
My son aged 12 has completley sheared off the cartilage on the large bone in his elbow. after falling on the skate part with an extended arm. he has been in angony since. his surgeon has been putting surgery off in the hope this piece of cartilage would re attach itself and his elbow would regain full movement. This is not happening. So now its surgery and removal of said cartilage. The surgeon said this was unknow territory, as he hasnt had to deal with this in a child before and basically we have no idea what if anything will grow to cover the end of the bone. worst case senario will be more surgery and a prosthetic elbow joint.
