Well do you want to give it up? If so, I guess go to AA. Never had a problem like that personally, so I'm sure wiser people than me will come along soon.

Get professional help, it's the only way to get out of it.
You shouldn't be talking to people on the internet, you should be talking to the people you love.

If you are worried that it is too much, too often, it is.

If you want to stop, you can. You don't have to go to meetings if that isn't your thing. Cold turkey will probably be a bh, but determined people get off heroin that way.

Don't go playing with trains.

Am surprised that you've noticed before your loved ones. That's actually good and means you can get things sorted out before it affects your life.
