Post coital headache

Anyone ever had this ?

I got the 1st one a month ago, as soon as I ejaculated. It was like getting hit over the back of the head with a cricket bat. I thought I was having a subarachnoid haemorrhage It absolutely scared the living daylights out of me. It went away after a few hours so I suspected it wasn't too serious.

So, I gave myself the acid test (alone in the shower, you know how it goes !), and wallop ! same again.

I spoke to a GP who diagnosed benign post coital headache; a not uncommon condition. It lasts as long as it lasts, and may return at any time.

Now I like sex as much as the next man, but I can tell you, just the thought of another one put me right off. It is truly horrifying.

I seem to be over it now, (after 3 weeks abstinence) thank God, but the worry is still there.

Any other sufferers on here ?

What about taking 2 paracetamol before hand?

Had this before.

Doc prescribed a weeks course of powerful anti inflammatory pills, stopped after a day of taking the pills and hasn't returned since.

For me it was like someone inserting an ice pick in my right temple. Not pleasant.
