Anyone know one which actually bloody works?

"sure active" seems to make no difference at all. We are not talking a big issue here, just wondered if anyone had any recommendations in these times of warmth to stop the odd damp patch underarm, which are really not good.

I can't use "normal" anti perspirants, so I buy Driclor, you put it on last thing at night, then wash off in the morning. Repeat this for a few nights then you can't sweat!!! Lasts about 2 weeks usually.

i have just been reading about this Dricolour, looks good stuff. Sounds painfull by a lot of accounts, but i will happily take a bit of pain, to get rid of the issue.

Looking around online, it seems more of a problem than first thought in a lot of people.

Crikey. What they hell do they use in it? Hydrochloric acid?

I still find Lynx is the longest lasting (shame the odours are a bit cheap).

However, the BEST I've used are those crystal deodorant sticks from Holland And Barrett. No stale smell after 24 hours even with heavy gym work. (The 24 hours ones rarely last that long.)

Also it's very natural so won't give you cancer unlike the aluminium ones (ie the ones everyone uses).

Oh, you want it to stop moisture? Oops. Will stop you stinking but it leaves your pores open.

Could try Botox.

Usually reserved for more extreme cases but becoming increasingly popular in my experience.

I have used this stuff before, http://www.tripledryonline.com/
I find it pretty good, apply it for three days and then once every 2/3 days.
No stingyness/itching on my pits anyway.

I use Mitchum, it seems to be the only one that does the trick these days.

Driclor has been a revelation. Mitchum 2nd best, although it appears to contain the same aluminium wotsit ingredient that driclor uses. I even tried driclor on my forehead as that became a shiny beacon in warm weather. Now, my forehead displays a matt finish. Bear in mind that driclor temporarily seals up pores, so sweat will still extricate itself in my case the groin area (I think). . . lol, errr

So cover your entire body in it apart from maybe a patch on your torso and stick cotton wool over that patch to soak up your entire body's sweat? silly
