Afternoon all!

The heading is pretty self explanitary I guess. I am thinking about using it to help me give up smoking and just wondering what the deal with it on NHS is. I know there is a higher charge but not sure if everyone is entitled to the drug.

Anyone know?

Cheers

Go see a 'registered smoking cessation advisor' - likely to be one of the practice nurses (just ring your local GP practice and they'll tell you if they've got one), or there may well be one at the local pharmacy (if it's a big one such as Lloyds, etc). There'll be one floating about somewhere local...
While it's an expensive drug, as long as you're committed and there are no significant mental health/ depression history issues there should be no problem getting your 'free' Champix (ie on prescription).
