Yes, a poo thread. First the back story.
I've recently been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. No surprise there. 48 year old fat bloke, no exercise, worst lifestyle ever. Imaging topping your car up with ASDA motor oil about 30 years ago, never changing it then wondering why it runs a bit funny these days.
Anyhoo, I've changed my diet as suggested. Out goes the brekkie fry-up, fast food lunch then massive dinner of whatever followed by a few drinks and whatever I felt like snacking on.
Now I eat natural yogurt + branflakes for breakfast, lunch is 4 rounds of healthy sandwiches with bread made from rabbit food and dinner is something like home made veggie soup or similar. If I snack, it's an apple. You get the drift and the weight is falling off. Honestly, I haven't felt better in years.
But on to the crux of the matter. Before, I suppose my toilet habits were what I would call normal if there is such a thing. Once a day, sometimes 2, average looking poo. No problems or cause for concern there.
Now? I think the phrase "Holy st" would be the most appropriate. Twice a day. Massive. I mean real toilet bowl filling, above the water line, Mr Whippy's. We're talking quality and quantity here.
I don't want to get too graphic but if I dropped the old evening "Turdzilla" into a tupperware box and posted it off to Gillian McKeith (as you do), the hideous old witch would be in 7th Heaven.
So, the big question. Where's it all coming from? I'm eating less volume of food if anything. Agreed, my fibre intake has gone up but I don't think that was an issue previously.
The obvious answer is "You are full of st" which I won't argue with but I could add a Smashy & Nicey type "Quite literally" to that answer.
Off you go medical peeps. Where's it all coming from?

Adam. Like your writing style.
I would imagine that now you are eating a fibre rich, healthy diet, your body now has the ability to rid itself of all the 'st'. LOL.
Being well hydrated will also vastly improve your peristaltic movements.
Its that trapped, stagnant fug, lingering in your bowels for yonks that contributes to things like bowel cancer. Good to see you've changed when you have.
