What is happening? Since she came off the pill she wont stop crying. She's always been an emotional rock but now she cries at the smallest of things

She might be sick of living with an old man biggrin

Only kidding. It's just hormone "imbalances".
Will soon pass then you'll be crying when she tells you she's pregnant. smile

stop with the pregnant, she came off the pill 2 weeks ago and due to work patterns she's only had it chucked up once

It's quite simple.

Go on holiday, call her everyday from your holiday.

If she is crying, it's another day in the sun. If she stops, you can now head home.

Hurrah! Me too.

Ahem...

Anyway...I've known the odd lady to have.."emotional" reactions to the hormone change of coming off the pill. It might not be more than that

It's quite common, especially if she's been on the pill for a long time. Rapid changes in hormones can have drastic effects. See if the doctor can put her on a reducing dose of hormones to avoid the cold turkey syndrome.

Or borrow Cara Van Man's Caravan and shut her in it until she regains hormone balance! hehe

Not far from the truth. The pill works by making the body think it is slightly pregnant, all the time. Ovulation stops because the body thinks that there is no need to release an ova, as it thinks is already a fertilised one there, only there isnt. Her body is used to hormones being regulated artificially and gently cycled. Suddenly that endocrine system is running under its own power and it needs to recalibrate itself To put it in car terms more appropriate for this board it is like pulling the fuse on the ECU to fix something and it needing to adjust to your driving style again, assuming the car has an ECU that actually does that.
