Has anyone tried this? If so have you got anywhere close to what it 'should' be?

In theory my one rep max should be 146.3KG but I couldn't get anywhere near it!

It's the amount of KG you can rep for 10 x 1.54. I can rep 95Kg for 10 so...

95KG x 1.54 = 146.3

I am just trying to find the source

I can't find a source anywhere, so it seems I have found a GymCock giving me false info. This is far more accurate!

Ah right.

According to that my onerep should be 133kg. I can do 130 max free weight, havent tried more cos at 39 I don't fancy injuring myself again.

Few years back tore a chest muscle trying to do too much on free weight bench press and it took weeks to get better.

I nearly blew my ears off last night trying this 1.54 theory. When I was 15Kg short of gymcocks 1.54 I was a bit pissed off.

I'm also a little annoyed that I have taken a bad bit of advice as I usually consider my self clued up. bkss.

I can do 100kg for 10. 130 is a big struggle, no way I could ever get anywhere near 146.
