Right, WTF is going on this year?

Last week in May, First couple of weeks in June, I have streaming nose... itchy palate and eyes and general wrotten demeanour. Best if you don't come anywhere near me, because if I don't snot on you, I'll be bloody grumpy hehe

This year I have been drug free so far and have hardly any symptoms. I haven't even been mardy...

How are things for you so far...? When do you suffer (and have you isolated the pollens)? Oh and what drugs do you swear by... hippy

It's been st this year.
Taking two types of pills and neither seem to be doing anything!
I think mine is mostly affected by grass, but not sure of anything else that affects me!

I havent suffered much this year so far, but when i do Beconase is about 95% effective at stopping the sneezing. Still get itchy eyes though.

not been too bad for the last few years, but this year is worse than last. I tend to find its grass pollen and oil seed rape pollen that effects me most, oh, and the sprays that farmers put on crops (wkers).....anyway, I swear by cetirizine hydrochloride, 10mg tablets you can get on prescription, its an anti-hystamine, only take one a day (when Palate feels itchy, my first symptom) and its gone, stops all itching, snotty nose, sneezing etc etc, 100% effective.

Until last week I was fine, then I woke up the one morning and could barely see or breath, but now im hardly getting any symptoms at all again.

The pollen seems to be peaking a little funny at the moment.

Fairly normal year for me yes I also swear by Cetirizine Hydrochloride (or however you spell it!).

Citirizine has never done anything for me. Fexofenadine works but makes you feel like death. A shot of a steroid called Kenalog and ever symptom goes. You only need one shot a year.

I usually get it pretty bad, last couple of years have been ok. Worse this year though.

I swear by Fexafenadine or Telfast 180mg, and then when the sneezing is bad that add in some flixonase nasal spray.

Keeps me ok then.

I had it real bad all my life, last year it went away early (July). I haven't had any this year (hoping).
I'd always use zirtec.

After 30 years of virtually hayfever-free summers, this year has had me sitting at my desk with tears streaming down my face and getting more "bless you"s than a Catholic Christening.

Tis an odd year. I'm done now I think. Last 2 weeks I was on the drugs. But I've not taken any for a few days now....

Thats done it right. I'm going to pay for it now...
