Dentist question..

Hi

Had a root canal treatment on one of my front teeth (next one along from the two front, sorry to get technical ) years ago. I've noticed then pushing my tongue on the roof of my mouth that I get (not sure how to describe it) sensation in the tooth, sort of from where my tong is to the tooth?!..

Is this something that will need sorting from a complete dentist scary girl..
