Watching a program on TV about Gastric bypass surgery and they said it will leave the patient with a stomach the size of an egg. That sounds a little on the small size. Do people really live with such a small stomach? Sounds like my kind of hell.

It wouldn't be hell at all, because you would have the same nice full-up feeling with only a tiny amount of scoff smile

You obviously have not seen the pictures of Cotty's dinners in the food forum!!

As a fellow food lover I know where he is coming from. Your brain would still be turned on by treating yourself to a massive steak and you would still feel ravenous at the smell of Sunday roast but then all you would be able to manage is a few mouthfulls.

I'm no expert but as I understand it the patient ends up having to take vitamins and supplements for life.

I think it's a pisstake they offer this on the NHS.
