Morning chaps,

Last few weeks i've been finding myself waking up at least once during the night every night - i can always get back to sleep again pretty quickly, but im always pretty tired come morning.

Not sure what's causing it really, i do plenty of exercise and eat properly. I'm thinking it could possibly be that i'm not tiring my mind out enough? I do a very tedious job at the moment as i'm mid way through a long application process for something else.

Anyone ever had similar probs? Any idea?

If that's the worst of your sleeping problems, I really wouldn't lose any sleep over it. Seriously.

try waking 4 or 5 times every night and then see how knackered you feel in the morning

I would love to sleep that well - I take ages to drop off, wake up on and off maybe 3 or 4 times then wake early too. Have learned to survive on very little sleep - have occasionally taken sleeping tablets but never found them to be very effective.

Sounds like you're doing the right things - maybe your mind isn't as relaxed as usual due to your job situation.

a lot of not sleeping is due to your nose being blocked. Try hayfever tablets of nose sprays shorterm only though!

I've been having the same thing, think it might just be because it's getting warmer/lighter earlier.

Put a fan into my room last night and slept much better than usual. thumbup

Its probably stress. You may not be aware that you're suffering from it (as its mild) but you probably are. I had this when expecting our first child, waking up, feeling quite awake but then dropping off again. Now Im just woken up by screaming, LOL.

Also, do you work shifts? Drink alcohol?

I recommend Indiumease, you sleep better and need less.

Nope normal 8-5 day - no shifts patterns disturbing me smile
I rarely drink, only on big occasions.

I think i'm going to try and black my room out as much as possible, see if that helps me - try and fool my body to thinking it's night still!
