Took a tumble off the bike at Cadwell on Thurs, and had a pretty heavy landing on my left arm and shoulder. Felt ok-ish immediately after but a couple of days on, now getting grief from ribcage on same side. No obvious popped ribs nor visible bruising but by 'eck it hurts if I cough or laugh etc, and when moving that arm...

Remember something similar after 'separating' some ribs in a footie clash once (that's what the doc said), so imagine it's just bruising?

Could be. Bruised ribs take weeks even months to fully heal.

However, I'm not a Doctor. Get it checked by your GP just to be sure.

Best of getting it checked out, just to be on the safe side. I feel down some stairs a few years back, thought I had just bruised my ribs and theres nothing they can do, lets just carry on. Three days later my lung collapsed due to the build up of blood behind the rib, added up to trip to A and E, chest drain and lots of agro. Best to check.
