Stupid Bloody Throat!!

Recently I quit smoking (again) and now I've got that annoying sore throat you tend to get in the first couple of weeks of quitting.

You know the one, when you swallow and it feels like the back of your throat is going to rip open!

I cant be arsed with the doctors as they are useless, so anyone know some good home remedies for soothing it until it goes away?
