Hi Guys!

Looking to see if I have missed anything here.

I have a rather miserable life at times. I work shifts, that are often extended so miss meals on occasion - you know the story blah blah.

In addition to a healthy, balanced diet I am looking for advice regarding oils etc.

I am an avid gym go-er. I go at least 4 times a week for weight training and have done for nearly 10 years without rest bite.
I also run, approximatley 10 miles a week - always on road/paths.

I am currently taking a good quality multivitamin, cod liver oil and have started to take Glucosamine as I have started to wake up in the night with knee pain, and of course protein shakes.

I hate fish, can't stand the things, even fish fingers make me heave.
Do I need to suppliment Omega's 3, 6 + 9 as well? Would this be a good idea?

Are there any other products (without becoming anal) that would be of benefit to take long term for all round well being?

Hoping any resident nutritionalists can advise.

Glucosamine and Chondroitin tablets.

And it's respite.

HTH.

Have you tried bowel clenser, its ideal for clearing out your insides of all that stty build up.

Also sergical spirit is good, but use it sparingly as it can cause a leather effect!

No worries, lol.

How old are you?

I'm 39 and I've run and done weights, amongst other sports, for 20 odd years now. However I always have a week off every 4 or 5 months and I don't do anything when I'm on holiday. I really think your body needs a break every now and then.

I try and have a good diet but take multivit/mineral, cod liver oil and G&C tablets too, I don't get joint pain.

yes

And I'd recommend the 'ChondroMax' brand from HealthSpan. There are lots of products on the market which aren't even fit for your pets.

Im 28.
I do think that things have improved with only a week of taking the glocosamine - although that could be the placebo effect.
I know what you mean about breaks, I think nothing of having 4 or so days off due to daily commitments. Thats normally good for me and Im ready to go back. I train so often its never really a worry.

Lepicol is its name. Its investing in your bowles, very important if you want to take that pension for everything you can.

...always dilute the surgical spirit. Always dilute.

The coronal sulcus can be a sensitive little thing.

Try the combined tabs, G&C, supposed to work a lot better together.

Mate of mine has just paid a fortune for G&C liquid, which he reckons works really well but it's bl00dy expensive.

As Glucosamine has been demonstrated to be beneficial in osteoarthritis of the knee you might be able to obtain the real deal stuff on prescription.HTH.
