Well after years of rugby and sport in general i am left if a body that is slightly second hand. Now i was slightly dubious of visiting an osteopath, but after the first session a lot of what he said kind of made sense, and he did seem to do some good.

However he told me to take 3 baths a week with a kilo of epsom salts in it. Now i'm not sure if he has shares in an Epsom salt company, but although i have bought into stretching, massage, ice baths (yuk) chiropractors etc during my playing career, the seems a step beyond my usual.

Anyone had any experiences?

I'm glad you feel better after seeing him.

The second paragraph above, however, is really stretching the realms of science somewhat. I find Radox smells better and probably does more for your joints hehe

We use Epsom salts for a lot of different things with our horses [sports injuries]. A good old fashioned remedy and one some of the old timers swear by!
