Swine Flu - Hype? (again)

What do you think? Are *we* (ie: the media) blowing this out of all proportion.

Remember, we were all going to die from SARS. errr..... we didn't.
Then we were all going to die from Avian Flu. errr..... guess what, we didn't.

Is this scare another one cooked up to take our mind off the economy, or to boost the sales of Beechams Powders, or Lemsip?

Perhaps I'm just cynical, but there's been a lot of "crying wolf" in recent years.

The media likes to cause mass panic, because then people want to know everything about it so will buy the papers and watch the tv shows.
I was slightly worried this week being front line staff looking after patients with flu like symptoms but hey ho i'm still here!
