So, no doubt, its someone elses fault. But obviously, as usual, not the retarded people who do things like this.

you would have thought when she saw this on the door, that she shouldn't be doing it

A sign on the door reads: "Strictly over 16s only."

Julie Barratt, said

"The only way we can protect young people from this sort of self-inflicted damage is to control the use of sun tanning faculties by legislation."

NO there is another way, teach them right from wrong and punish them when they lie to their parents about where they are going and what they are spending their money on.

The only thing I would say is that the machines should be changed so that you perhaps could not spend more than 5 minutes on one without getting off it and back on, should not be a huge issue for the manufacturers.

if you got burnt after that, then you are a plank.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Now I hope both you and your parents have gained something after this. You are a lying untrustworthy little brat. And your parents have not done a very good job so far.

Mother wants an investigation?

Well I hope she is given a serious telling off by social services for not looking after her daughter properly.

Stupid witch.

Shouldn't social services be investigating how a young brat can head into town and do that?

That pretty much sums up my feelings about most of the "news" stories of today. Well said that man!

Make something idiot proof, someone will find a bigger idiot.

Darwin was quite right, and we get more and more people striving to prove this weekly.

I wondered why there wasn't a thread on this in the 'News' forum, so I created one. Only for it to be promptly locked and me directed here.

Of course, why didn't I think a news story about some idiot child burning herself would be in 'Health Matters'. That's clearly the obvious place to look. I mean, it's not like the real issue here is the parenting of the child.

MODS: NO ONE GIVES A fk ABOUT THE ACTUAL 'HEALTH MATTERS' OF THIS IDIOT BURNING HERSELF

This thread should clearly be in 'News' where people will be discussing idiotic parenting and rash calls at banning something.

I fear if the mods actually think this is about 'health matters' they've actually lost the bloody plot.

Now, on to the story, I like how they cleverly omit the age of 'older cousin' as to shirk the blame to the tanning salon. No doubt 'older cousin' is old enough to take responsibility.

You know this was announced as Breaking News in the BBC lunchtime news, breaking into the Killer Flu story, as it happened.

Terrible, this silly girl was given cash, by her mother, to buy shoes or something, cut to family photo, of said child with, guess what, heavily 'sun' tanned parent, hell I know, thats what I thought, where did the child get this crazy idea from?

But breaking news, apparently it all happened a week go, FFS!!! And she's calling for an investigation? Into herself. methinks. Always someone else's fault, not her child, not her own. GGRRRRGGHH!!!!

This ought to be still in News, as it is the news...

I do often wonder if the mods look at a thread, pick all the elements of it, then toss a coin to decide which sub forum to stick it in.
