Female body sculpturing
Discussion
Is anyone here doing this, if so what fitness physique/base did you start out with to be successful at it?
Ive been at the gym on and off all my life to do mainly cardio, but since adding small weights into my program I am seeing some difference in my shape and had several people come up to me and ask me what my goals were. I secretly wanted to say by next summer to reveal something suitable to start body sculpturing, but when you’re talking to people who are ripped and beautiful it’s kind of hard to speak the truth, wondering whether they are sniggering under their breath.. According to the people in the know there my body is in proportion and have good muscle base already which could go to the next step if I wanted to. The next step being hard core dieting to rid the love handles and to up my program a bit. Nothings ever easy eh! That means no wild drinking parties
Perhaps you guys also have experience working with the female stature?

If by 'sculpting' you mean body building...don't do it.
From a blokes perspective (for what it is worth), athletic / sports conditioning in women is beautiful becasue it firms and defines the natural female form. Ripped muscle is hideous on women. The female body is a work of art, don't spoil it.
If you want to trim down a bit, try Maximuscle Thermabol in conjunction with the gym and a higher % of protien in your diet and you will get to your goals. Sounds like commitment isn't the problem.

Don't go mad or too far and you will look perfect. Just perfect
The mean speaks sense, all women should do light weights because a) tones and b) the extra muscle needs more calories so helps lose fat/maintain weight goal. It would take a lot of effort for a woman to build freak muscles so just take it easy and you will be fine.Do you want to be into fitness modelling & competitions, bodybuilding or just enhance your shape?
Don't listen to anyone who says don't build your muscles it's your body and you will need to build a certain amount no matter which route you go down.
go here linky for lots of advice no matter which avenue you take.

Hi guys oh no def do not want to go masculine eek! But yeah I love toned bodies and yes women should be shapely not like these skinny coat hangers walking around on cat walks I guess I am looking for the perfect in between. Its also important to maintin the fun pillows too body sculturing makes some ladys lose them, that is def a big nono.
Agree light weights are the way to go not into back breaking stuff at all.

Stick with the cardio Kylie (what cardio ar you doing?). I too have been going to the gym most of my adult life (nearly 20 years now). I have slightly iffy knees and for me the x-trainer (+ a heart rate monitor) is by far the most effective piece of equipment for toning. Started to revisit the rowing machine having had some gyp with my back over the last 5 years or so. Some form of squatting exercises weighted or not should bring some extra definition to the quads? I have also started running (gently) and reckon that is toning up my legs more. If your gym has any classes, along the lines of abs, step, step 'n tone, circuit-training you could do worse than to give them a go. Also consider using a reputable personal trainer who can motivate and advise you on how to achieve these new goals?
Good Luck
PS Given how attractive you appear to be (www) YES, we need pics . . .

Geday David, I did a lot of circuit classes, which I found challenging and fun. This is set up in a weight room, you have 30 secs on each equipment and just go for it, last 50mins or till you drop. Best body toning I have ever done, but at that time I was playing many team/adrenaline type sports such as Ice Hockey, Field Hockey, Touch Rugby, skiing, mountain biking as well. After that I moved location and got into triathlon about five yrs ago and got very competitive, but I strained my IT band which runs down the outside of my knee on the run and I just couldnt get it right again so lost a lot of confidence. I dropped triathlon and just took up cycling which I enjoy. I also do the occasional spin class at the gym too which is the best sweat up and lung burner anyone can get!Good Luck

So at the moment every second day if I can is a cycling spin class for cardio or I get out after work and go for a fast ride for an hr. The days around that are split into lower and upper body light weights program. Meant to be five days a week. Weekends I try and go hiking, kayaking or white knuckles gripping the V8 on the twisties - Yeah!!!

Can i advise you pull your dress down just a tad to cover that belly button as some blokes would try to do unmentionable things to that hole
