i normally wouldn't talk about my ablutions but having had a couple of visits for a number 2 today i must admit i am quite perplexed and thought the best place to discuss it would be on PH!

sat there going about my business, only to notice the distinct aroma of mint. the loo didn't smell of it before i went in and its too coincidental for it to happen twice. this was accompanied by a slight stinging in the ringpiece, the sort of cold feeling you get when using mint shower gel.

it just occured to me that i munched through 2 tubs of wrigleys extra over the past couple of days and i always swallow chewing gum.

can this actually be the cause or am i imagining things! i hope i don't start blowing bubbles!


and no, i haven't been visiting a certain gym!

Just to clarify the situation...

You ate, and swallowed several minty products.
You can now smell mint whilst defecating.
And you're wondering if there's a correlation.

well usually when i st it smells of st regardless so to be sat there farting long lasting freshness was quite weird. i would have thought that my bowels could outpower chewing gum, i am quite disappointed they cannot.
