TENS pain relief
Discussion
Missus is heavily pregnant & we're getting ready for D-Day, test drove the TENS pain relief unit. After attaching the pads to her back, we powered it up and selected level 1 - the weakest - it made her jump out of her skin. Checked instructions again & 2nd go was the same. Is this to be expected?

Sounds about right.
I "tested" my wife's tens machine on the lowest setting and jumped across the room.
When the big day came she ended up with it on full blast and boost for hours - actually forgot it was still on until the electrodes came off the pad and touched her skin.
Get a good book or a psp or something - they take ages to push it out.

My wife used a Boots one and it worked a treat. Timed it with each contraction and it was spot on. That's all she had......no drugs.
Where did you put the pads?My misses is due in 8 weeks so might consider this.

My missus gave birth while bent over the bed with me on the other side as if we were arm wrestling. Didn't lie down once.
