Just started month 3 after 2 week trial, they have certainly reduced the pains and even calmer a little.
Now the side effects I have grown used to... Apart from one, my main cause for concern.
Floppy, uninterested cock...
As the trial period was coming to an end I had a phone call with my doctor on friday, I voiced my concern, it's basically been fast asleep for 2 months, there was the occasional 'wake up semi'... He has prescribed some form of viagra.
We planned an experiment last night, it was going well, she threw back the sheet, up HE came, in HE went, feeling was all there... For a couple of minutes !!!!!!!
We tried all sorts.
This morning I have, at her request, tried internet stimulation, the end game does not seem to be there any more.
Doctor and chemist said the same thing, 'it may correct itself with time', neither sounded convincing.
Anyone had a similar experience ?. Any joy ?

I will be interested in hearing people's experience with this as well as I decided not to take antidepressants for exactly this reason.

I was prescribed Sertraline by my GP but it was a throw-away decision by him with no mention of any potential side-effects etc.
The whole consultation lasted about 2 minutes.

I researched the potential side effects and was put off to say the least.
It didn't help that the very evening that I was prescribed them there was a documentary (?Panorama) on about how antidepressants can cause genital numbing in some patients. A small minority also reported permanenet damage even after coming off the pills.

Have to say it's put me off for life so hearing some real-life expriences may give some perspective.

For comparison purposes, I've used both Sertraline and Duloxatine for depression.

Part of my depression reduces interest in socialising, dating, libido.

Sertraline significantly reduced the libido to virtually zero, reduced frequency and firmness of 'morning glory' and virtually eliminated ability to finish.
However, as I'm long term single, not really an issue.
It also made me VERY tired with increasing dosage, to needing 10-12 hrs sleep every night, not really viable to do long drives, and not able to tell if the depression had actually improved or not.

Switching to Duloxatine got rid of all the above side effects once the Sertraline was out of my system.
