Best Hand Cream

I've used Nivea Norwegian Formula and also the 65p stuff from Aldi. Just seen an advert for okeefs on tv. It's quite expensive. Wondering if anybody uses it?

I think my hands are cracked from church bell ringing and the rope.

Cetraben. It's a little bit greasy but soon absorbs. Just need to put it on a little before you need to do anything.

I use it to keep eczema at bay which it does well.

My dad was a builder for most of his life, hands were rough and cracked like you wouldn’t believe until a hairdresser told him one day to get the cheapest conditioner you can find and use it neat as a hand cream.

Worked wonders for him.

for dry/cracked skin I've seen 'working hands' cream mentioned afew times on here.

Don't under estimate good ol' vasaline/petrolium jelly. The best time to put it on is right after your evening shower/bath, immediately after you've dried yourself off.


side note can anyone reccomned a non-greasy hand lotion?
As someone who is at a computer 10+ hours a day (work and casually) I don't want my hands to be dry, but I don't want it greasy. There's nothing i hate more than using a keyboard/mouse/controller with greasy hands and it leaving a residue.

Comes in a lighter cream in a tube or harder cream in a tub. Both last for ages.

I also use their foot cream in the summer as I get badly cracked heels when I'm wearing flip flops on holiday and in and out of the pool and sun. Again it works really well.

You want a barrier cream to stop the damage in the first place. 3M Cavilon is my go to for manly activities.

My brother (retired pharmacist) recommends Zerobase cream for his son who has eczema.

Not used much now, but my girl is prescribed Cetraben as part of her prescription for eczema.

Day to day Cerave is my go to product. Usually available in any decent Boots store.

Cracked heels are the least of your worries.

I've tried them all.

Get the 'value size' and it will last for ages. You don't need to use a lot.

Was a builder for 51 years so knees and hands suffered with cracking and dryness , any of the proprietary bands will work they ain’t cheap

Another vote for O'keefes. Brilliant product and one needs to be used sparingly. I find it best to use once a day at night.

O’keefes working hands or cetroben. Cetroben is also good for skin conditions. It used to be an over counter cream years back but available off the shelf now.
