Anyone know about resistance bands?
Discussion
My mother in her 80s has been having pain in her arms and has gone to physio to help.
They use resistance bands and suggested that she gets two to use at home, this is the very helpful note they provided

I found a chart that shows the resistance of each band but then learnt that not all companies use the same colour coding. I tried explaining that as long as we get the right resistance the colour is not relevant, but she doesn't really understand and it might just be easier to get a red and yellow with the correct resistance.

Also anyone know which type they use in physiotherapy? Im wondering if these would be suitable

Go with the Therabands Cotty, the very weakest will do. The other examples in your lower pic are for proper resistance training.
Cheers. Do these look the right oneshttps://www.amazon.co.uk/TheraBand-Resistance-Prof...
