Mild fuzziness from 0% beer
Discussion
Having dialled right back on my alcohol intake this year, I've been trying the various low and zero alcohol offerings. Rather nice they are too.
However, I've determined that they cause a mild level of fuzziness. Not a hangover but a niggling headache of sorts that lasts for about a day or so. I'm not knocking them back by the gallon, normally just a single bottle or can.
Wondering if this is just a case of them not agreeing with me or if others suffer the same.

Any particular brand? IIRC sulphites in wine can cause headaches, I wonder if there is something similar in alcohol free beer.
FWIW, I generally drink low or no alcohol beers and do not have the reaction you have, but I only tend to drink one bottle with a meal.

I second the dehydration theory. Apparently* non-alcoholic beer still acts as a diuretic.
This is my experience too. It is still possible to get a hangover of sorts. (* NB: This is merely hearsay but I figure that the quickest way to disprove it is to post it to PH and, if incorrect, someone will be along in 43 seconds to post "Well, actually...")

Perfectly timed thread as I woke up this morning with a headache after one can of NA Guiness last night. Not the first time , so I think it is cause and effect .
Quite a bit on this if you Google. Essentially it is not just the alcohol in alcoholic drinks that causes headaches.
The Guinness one is what seems to trigger my symptoms more than most. Quite a bit on this if you Google. Essentially it is not just the alcohol in alcoholic drinks that causes headaches.

I love my wine and beer but if I’m having an alcohol free evening out I cannot imagine anything worse than alcohol free equivalents. I’d prefer a normal soft drink, such as lemonade, every time.
Obviously ymmv.
I have however decided not to give up alcohol, on health grounds. My ex rowing partner gave it up, lost two stone and then had a TIA. He was furious.

They all taste the same to me. The initial taste is alright but there is a weird fruity aftertaste.

There are a couple that are OK as a drink but after about a half I don't bother I have however decided not to give up alcohol, on health grounds. My ex rowing partner gave it up, lost two stone and then had a TIA. He was furious.
For the first few mouthsful my brain thinks "beer, this is good" then after half a glass it's moved on to "this is a bit crap".
About the only half decent non-alcoholic version of an alcohol drink I've tried is Crodino/Gingerino. But not exactly a beer replacement.
