Don't know if I've got a particularly heavy head but I'm awakened every night by a sore ear on the side I've been sleeping. I then have to turn over to the other side. This is repeated several times a night.
I can't sleep on my back so the only solution I can think of is a pillow that will support my nut but not get compressed/hard. I don't get on with the cheap foam ones, which are too hot, or with the shaped 'support' pillows that are crazy uncomfortable for me.
Anybody else got this issue and can suggest a good pillow? Or is it just me. TIA for any suggestions.

It is a weird one. I'm on three thins at the moment too, rotating them to try and find the Goldilocks combo not just daily but often in the night as well. Tried one soft and one hard, one on top then the other. Still looking for an answer. So jealous of people who can just drop their head on the pillow and that's it for the night!

Well I'll thank you now for the suggestion, that's quite an investment but I'm at the stage where I'll consider anything. Blackpuddin said:

I used to get sore ears. Then I took a memory foam pillow and cut out a circle in the middle so my head is supported by my ear is over the hole. Ta-da. Still works with pillowcases on.
I've often thought it odd that nobody makes one like that, My ears are far from juglike but there must be folk like the King who struggle with this. They do!
There's the Pillow With A Hole, but the filling compresses down to nothing in a month or so.

Also the M-Line Athletic, but it's expensive and the hole is too small and has uncomfortable edges.

Mine is an Otty pillow that came free with a mattress many years ago, and I think it's better than either of the above. Once you've cut the hole, of course.

!00% pure goose down.
Spendy, but worth it.
Like most things it depends. I decided to treat myself to goose down pillows and I really don't like them. They look huge fluffed up, but by morning they are very thin. They are the most expensive pillows I've bought yet the IKEA pillows they replaced are better.Spendy, but worth it.
