Does anyone else struggle with this? Any cure (other than headphones etc.)?

I do - quite badly with eating. I generally have to leave the room or put headphones in if somebody is eating crisps for example. I've learnt to sort of live around it, but it can cause friction with my partner sometimes as she just doesn't understand.

Biggest triggers for me are if I’m on a call / FaceTime etc with someone and they start eating. It’s unbearable but easy enough to solve by hanging up.

Mostly the wife triggers me at home. We mostly solve it by having music on at mealtimes.

Lip smacking and humming set me off.
