Moving from Levemir
Discussion
T1 diabetic and I've been using Levemir as a basal insulin for the last 27 years.
Initially I used it in conjunction with Novorapid, but moved from Novorapid to Apidra approximately 4 years ago.
Now with the approaching withdrawal of Levemir from the market it looks as if I'll switch to Tresiba for my basal doses.
Any others on here who've switched to Tresiba and how have you found it? How have your dosages and basal schedule changed, if at all?

Tresiba is excellent as it acts for something like 42 hours and works consistently rather than having peaks of activity. You only need to inject once a day where as Levemir often requires twice daily injections to get consistent coverage. I can’t remember the dose change but within a few days once Tresiba had set in the difference was stark for me
