PSA Testing by Graham Fulford Charitable Trust

I've posted this before in the Prostate Cancer 'sticky' thread but conscious a lot of readers might not go into it unless you're of a certain age or have symptoms that may direct you to it.
Now I know PSA testing is being offered by the NHS for men over 50 which will involve a visit to the GP for the DRE and then likely arranging another appointment for a blood test to get the result but for the cost and convenience of subsequent regular PSA testing I chose to use this charity.
Whilst the medical profession will state a PSA test alone can be inconclusive for cancer without other symptoms for £5 I'd rather pay for the test and use it to support further NHS investigation if required.
Sadly Sir Chris Hoy is not yet at the age to be offered the NHS screening, nor perhaps would prostate issues be on his radar at 48yrs of age to ever consider a PSA test so for a fiver (some sites are free or c£25) it's perhaps worth having the test.
I have no connection with this Trust but found it simple to book, very efficient on the day and results within 2-days that I passed on to my GP who updated my NHS record. The Trust recommends testing for men at 40 years and over.
