I’ve had a terrible cough for about three weeks now. Started with losing my voice and also affected my sinuses (one ear especially). Also feeling of tiredness. The issue is it doesn’t seem to be going away , if anything it seems to be getting worse . On a course of antibiotics at the moment . Just wondered if anyone else had suffered similarly ?

The logical thing would be to do a covid test surely?

Covid test negative . Can’t get a GP appointment unless you are over 80 near me.

Presumably thought it was a bacterial infection.

I’m sorry but I simply don’t believe this. Please tell me who the surgery is?

It’s an 8am wait for an appointment call. All NHS on line appointments gone. I’d rather not name .

I suspect he means you have to wait rather than you can't get one at all.

Go to an NHS walk in or A&E if you're concerned it's getting worse.

That’s actually rather different to what you’d said and quite unfair on the GPs.
It’s no wonder we’re losing so many GPs when the public expectation and attitude is like this. I know it’s a bit of a postcode lottery but give them a break.

Also, you’ve gone private for the first appointment, that’s where you should be going back to really as they made the initial diagnosis.
