Which protein snacks are convenient but not Ultra-Processed Foods? Nuts? What else might work for on-the-go?

Biltong (home made if you can be bothered, if not a smaller producer. Not mass-marketed 'jerky' as above), boiled eggs.

I don't know if you are looking for something in a "wrapper" or a whole food in a systema type container.

My choices on the go -

Boiled eggs.

Cheese squares.

Peanut butter with a spoon.

Cashew butter with a spoon.

Biltong.

I don't think this one will be popular but one of my current favourites - Smoked mackerel fillet with cheese cubes - very filling and sustaining.

Mackerel is good. Tastes nice too, especially on crackers.

Or any oily fish - my go to is Tesco Finest Sardines - but not at work!

It's pretty much boiled eggs if you want unprocessed.

Cheese and peanut butter are both nice, but both are very easy to eat lots of. Avoid any PB with Palm Oil in it - they don't swap the oils for your benefit.

Jerky is expensive and not very filling and you have to watch the salt and the sugar.

Thanks, that's a good peanut butter tip to be alert for.

Avoid any peanut butter that contains anything other than peanuts and a pinch of salt.

Good ol cheddar.
I’m nota fan of nuts but will have a small amount of cashews.

Tesco do a sliced beef seasoned properly. Absolutely divine to snack on. My kids go through it like nobody’s business.
Don’t worry about the salt, your blood pressure isn’t high because of salt, it's because you’ve eaten large quantities of crap. Stop eating crap and eat real food.

Shouldn't you be thinking about sorting your marriage out and not talking about deli meats online?

Biltong & Cheese are my top choices. I try to avoid anything factory produced.
