its back! - lower oesophagus diagnosed yesterday

so after camera and issues not being able to swallow, was told yesterday unfortunately there is a 2cm tumour,showing, already booked in for full body scans sunday, thank god, any one had this, just trying to stay positive and calm!! masectomy was back in october last year.

heck - I've followed your posts on the "effing cancer" thread and admired your honesty and straight talking on the subject - your contributions are always eye opening and have helped me understand the behaviour of my father-in-law who's also a cancer sufferer.

I'm so sorry to hear your news - hopefully the scans show something minor and easily treatable and you keep giving the likes of me food for thought!

I had oesophageal cancer. Cells on my throat and a tumour under my tongue. Radio and chemo sorted it out, and, as you can see, I'm still here 7 years later. Good luck mate.
