Over the last few weeks I’ve had an intermittent pain in my right testicle. It’s comes and goes with a throbbing pain. I’ve checked the area and both testicles are level so not thinking it’s a twisted one. The pain seems to happen sometimes when I stretch out or stand up from sitting in the ground

Before it only happened twice a week but now it’s happening a couple of times daily. It only ever happens on the right side one. It’s not that painful but is obviously getting worse and don’t want to leave it

Anyone else had this and know what it could be ?

I’m sure it’s absolutely nothing to worry about. But get up early and ring for a GP appointment first thing.

In the meantime don’t Google it or worry about it, it’s the sort of thing that can be a phantom pain if you worry or overthink it.

As above, arrange a quick check. Usually pain indicates an injury rather than anything more serious, groin strain can affect your jewels too but don't take this as a reason not to have a check.

If it's a struggle to get a GP appointment, try your local hospitals STI clinic.

I had similar in my left, ended up being a left inguinal hernia. Get it checked with the Doctors either way

Similar symptoms, mine was a muscle strain in my groin, that affected it, went after two weeks - still went to the GP to get the little fella's checked out

Absolutely so. I really, really, really do despair when I read such questions from desperately silly posters. Talking about their health on a car website.
Go and get it sorted.

No not me, mine was 40 years ago! Worst pain I have ever had, much more than when I broke my neck and back on a motorbike (made a full recovery).

Although last years kidney stones were pretty bad!

He'd have been about the same age as me, around 25 at the time. I can still remember him telling me all about it. Two things I recall him saying:

Laying on the operating table and having to sign to say that they might have to remove a gonad if it went wrong. And saying "I'll sign anything - just get on with it now !"

And saying the first time he had his leg over after the operation was the biggest relief of his life.

Thanks for the responses guys I appreciate it greatly. Went to the doctors and they’ve put me on antibiotics and think it is Epididymitis.

Anyone else had this and how long did it take to clear ?

Anyhow 2 weeks of 2 tablets a day.
