Odd question - foot blisters
Discussion
Hi All
Sorry, I think this is the right section for this question!
So, my favourite office work shoes (Chelsea boots) required replacing. Unable to get exact replacements now, I purchased the closest I could find. However, after wearing them around the house for a few days, I got quite bad blisters on the back of my foot and a small toe. Let heal and also tried plasters etc (and local shop put the boots on stretch tool to try and help small toe issue), but again, blisters!
Ended up purchasing a different pair - Barbour's this time, but again, exactly the same as above. However, this time I have been trying to wear them out a little, so cannot return.
Really appreciate any thoughts/tips on wearing these in please. Or perhaps I should go up a size?
Thanks very much.

I bought these heels inserts from Amazon as had the same problem on some new shoes after they cut into the back of my heel really badly.
Absolute life savers and work so well.

Do you not find they come off in use? In reality do they not push the foot forward potentially making the small toe issue worse?
Thanks again.

They sit at the top of the shoe so support the ankle arch from rubbing on the back, they don't push the foot forward on my shoes.
For a couple of quid, it's worth a try I'd say.
On the front toe, I don't have that issue but maybe wear the shoes looser (not sure if yours are laceless), or see if there's some solutions like the heel inserts for the front of the foot.
Failing that maybe cut a pad up and stick a small piece at the front of the shoe, see if that works.
