Oticon Intent 3 trial

Hi I am on a weeks trial of the oticon 3 due to low bass loss in my hearing which is quite muffled.
I'm finding certain situations are useful. Watching films for example. But in busy environments all I can hear is noise. I'm struggling to hear people close to me. Rustling is amplified, and people dropping things!
I've been told by the hearing centre that the oticon 1 has more directional sensors and better noise cancelling of background noise than the 3.
Anyone experienced both and got the benefit with the much higher priced 1?
Although I have found an online which will do the 1 for £1100 than the local shop will (and is less than the 3 I'm trialling).
