How quickly things change....

Early Saturday was sat with Mrs H having breakfast before a busy day doing the usual stuff when the phone rang.
Father in law, a fit and healthy 83 yo, acting strange whilst dressing, Mrs H whizzes straight round, 999 and he walks into the ambulance.
Halfway to hospital he has a massive seizure, catastrophic bleed on the brain, straight to CT scan, transfered to different hospital neuro unit. We were given the news that there was no hope.
Never regained consciousness, somehow lasted 5 days until just past midnight this morning with me and Mrs H bedside. I had to gently remove mother in law, who turned 80 on the second day, after 3 days and nights and drive her home as she was on the point of collapse.
My daughter is booked in for a planned caeserean on Monday for the arrival of our 2nd grand daughter who now will never get to meet her great grandad.
Life. What a roller coaster it is.
