Has anyone any experience of a operation recently , I was told 2 months ago I’d have a operation on kidney in the next 6 / 8 weeks ( have done pre - op etc ) but have heard nothing more ( I know it was held up awaiting a prostrate biopsy ) but I’d of expected some kind of update what’s happening , it’s getting to the stage I’ll need to re- do the pre- op again soon .
I guess a phone call wouldn’t hurt , thanks

Normally pre-op is about 2 weeks before op.

I would chase them up.

Pre op where I work is valid for three months, we normally say it is an estimate that you'd have the op in that time but not guaranteed.
